TJC offers 17 online Associate, Bachelor and certificate degrees. A further 11 degrees are hybrid courses, with both online and in-class components.
The college has an Early College High School program, where high school students can earn up to 60 credit hours.
TJC is a Military Friendly College. Military personnel and their families are eligible for a variety of services and benefits, including scholarships and Hazlewood Benefits.
There are faculty mentors from all five branches of military service to help veterans navigate college life.

In general, Texas is slightly cheaper than the national average of $9,970 for a degree at a public 4-year college or university. However, Texas is home to some of the most affordable colleges and universities in the US, and it’s most expensive schools are tens of thousands cheaper than the most expensive schools in the country.
Schools that offer a tuition guarantee promise students a fixed tuition rate for a portion of, or the entirety of, their education. This may or may not include fees and other costs.
